Blood Justice

Blood Justice (The Roger Brinkman Series #1)

Roger Brinkman thought his home was safe. He was wrong.

Life changed abruptly while Roger was away at school. When a band of thugs impersonating soldiers showed up intent on kidnapping his adopted brother Nik, the situation turned tragic. Nik escaped but their family did not.

Their shared loss put the Brinkman brothers on wildly different paths in search of their family’s killer. They end up serving on opposite sides in the Civil War, placed in a position to kill each other to survive the horrible conflict.

Was his family’s death destined to be written off like a casualty of war?

The brothers need to overcome their differences when they become marshalls to pursue their family’s killers. Will they use the badge’s legal powers to lead them to justice and a renewed life or will it simply end in revenge?

About Tim W. James

Tim W. James has been a writer since grade school. In third grade, he wrote a script and produced a play on ghosts and gold, inspired by the Old West stories of Wyoming where he grew up.

An athlete in high school and college, he eventually became a sports editor for two Gold Country Media publications in the Sacramento area of Northern California.

James’s early interest in scriptwriting led him to write and direct A Devilish Tale, which was judged Best Film of the Year by the Northern California Amateur Filmmakers Association. He followed with a parody production of Star Trek, which was requested by the organizers of a Star Trek convention held in Sacramento.

He began working with his brother, the head of TVL Video Productions in San Diego, to help write and direct productions on gold prospecting. They followed with a segment of Emmett Harder’s book These Canyons are Full of Ghosts and a philosophy/theology study on the decision to suspend life support titled Ice Cream for Tom.

James lives in Northern California with his wife, daughter, and three dogs. When not writing, he continues his passion for athletics by playing golf and watching his favorite sports teams.
