Randy Isaacson

Randy Isaacson is a retired university professor who taught educational psychology and motivation to teachers at Indiana University for 37 years.  Randy and his wife had vacationed in the Tetons since the early 1970s and retired to Teton Valley Idaho in 2012.  In 2015, Randy launched his website (FirstAnAmateur.com) to share what he was learning in photography with other amateurs.  And in 2016, he started a Peer Mentor Program in the Teton Photography Club (https://tetonphotographyclub.org/our-groups/peer-mentor-program/) to create a learning environment for beginner and intermediate photographers.  The Peer Mentor Program continues to meet every month. Randy has always been a teacher and hopes to help advance others in their photography.

Randy Isaacson’s photography is featured in 50 Jackson Hole Photography Hotspots.
